How long does it take to get custom designed jewellery manufactured? And how long do jewellery repairs take?
Our custom jewellery typically takes 2-4 weeks to be created and delivered to you, and our jewellery repairs typically take 3-7 days for our goldsmiths to fix; the duration on these services may vary depending on the ease or complexity of each custom design or jewellery repair.
How much do jewellery repairs cost?
Jewellery repairs vary in cost since each repair and each jewellery item is different. When you drop off or send in an item for repair, our gemologists will inspect your item and inform you of the approximate cost of the repair. After doing so, our gemologist will pass the item(s) along to our goldsmiths, who will determine the actual cost of the repair. Most customers trust the gemologist's estimated cost and do not need us to touch base with them once the goldsmith determines the actual cost, however if you prefer, we can have our goldsmiths wait to do any work until we inform you of the actual total cost of the repair.
Do you appraise jewellery? How much does that cost?
With our sister store International Gemological Laboratories (IGL) under the same roof, we do offer jewellery appraisals at our establishment. To book an appraisal, please call 403-264-8526. IGL appraisal prices are as follows:

$85 if only bringing in one jewellery item

$75 per appraisal if bringing in two to nine jewellery items

$65 if bringing in 10 or more jewellery items
You will receive both electronic and professional printed copies of the appraisal, making it easy for you to file the hard copy at home and submit the electronic copy to you insurance company or whomever you may be selling your jewellery to.
